Two women in prison for attacking

UTAH STATE PRISON -- Two women in prison for attacking a Weber Valley Detention Center staffer during an escape bid have received parole dates.

Melinda Rose Chasteen and Jessica Laurine Grundie, both now 22, were charged as adults and convicted of attempted aggravated murder.

The Utah Board of Pardons and Parole has decided Chasteen can be paroled in March 2012 and Grundie can be released a year later.buy r4 ds
They were 15-years-old on Dec. 1, 2002, when they lured the woman to their cell and attacked her. The girls held her arms as Grundie stabbed her twice in the neck with a knife Chasteen had concealed in her shoe for nearly two weeks.

The woman was not seriously buy r4 ds injured.buy r4 ds
Grundie and Chasteen said at a March parole hearing that they accepted full responsibility for the crime.
